Ages: 33 months to the year before kindergarten

Preschoolers at Jack and Jill Childcare enjoy a curriculum that promotes physical and cognitive development through play and exploration.

Preschoolers are divided into three and four-year-old groups based on the traditional school calendar.  Within each classroom, preschoolers are further divided into smaller learning groups for small group activities.

3. •Small group sizes to better meet the individual needs of the child.
   

4. •Teachers dedicated to the development of trust, security and emotional growth through prompt, nurturing and responsive care
   

5. •A curriculum designed to foster learning through stimulating sights, sounds and physical exploration.
   

6. •Daily reading to all children
   

7. •Daily walks inside or outside (weather permitting)
   

8. •Daily visits to the playground (weather permitting) or visits to indoor large muscle room
   

9. •Detailed individualized reports on each child’s activities provided daily
   

10. •Potty training efforts at child’s own pace
    

11. •Sign language exposure
    

12. •Spanish exposure
    

13. •Bi-annual parent-teacher conferences (additional conference available upon request)
    

14. •Open door policy for parents
