Tropical Encounters – Como Park & Zoo Exhibit
Join our adventure through a Central and South American rainforest through the eyes of plants and animals as we tour the Como Park Zoo’s Tropical Encounters Exhibit. We will learn about the declining rainforests and the vast number of products that come from the rainforest including modern medicine! |

Construction!
Fun continues in the snow, as we build a fort! Inside, we’ll construct a toy town with log cabins, castles, pyramids and more! We’ll learn about early dwellings and explore extreme home ideas. Kids will play games associated with famous structures such as the Flatiron building, the Washington Monument, and the National Gallery of Art. How would you build your ideal “toy” home? |

Bridges and Swimming?
There are more than half a million bridges in the US and we’ll explore how they work, as we look at Truss designs to construct our own bridges. We’ll bridge the gap to the swimming pool at Fairview for fun water play! |

Way Cool Cooking School - Eden Prairie
Now we’re cooking, as we go to the Way Cool Cooking School in Eden Prairie to create Shamrock pretzels, limeade, green bread sandwiches and more, as we make our lunch and spend an afternoon of cooking up some green treats! |

Art & Invention at Leonardo’s Basement in Minneapolis
Kids will work in two different classes, one art and one invention. In the art class younger students will make prints using a variety of materials and older students will complete more sophisticated printing projects. Both age groups will design and build inventions. They can be purposeful or fantastical. You decide…let your creativity explode! |

Celebrate Green!
Start the day off right with swimming at the Fairview pool and then we'll explore and create green foods, shamrock fun, beading and art activities. Reduce, reuse and recycle…we’ll do all of those things as we create a tunnel of fun out of recyclable items. |
